After last night's struggle in the gym, I can safely say that I didn't waste away to nothingness after not touching a single weight machine in G-Junction. I had a good workout last night:
Seated military press 3/8
Seated Arnold press 3/8
Shrugs 3/8
Lateral raises 3/10
Front raises 3/10
Upright d.b. rows 3/10
Yeah, I'm shooting for the hypertrophy range but I'm still keeping my calories at 1,000 under maintenance. I wonder if I'll get any decent results. Prior to Grand Junction, I was on a 5x5 strength phase in an attempt to keep my strength up while cutting my calories. SSDiabolique has a pretty aggressive outlook on the next couple weeks of training. She wants to go 5 days a week. Some may say this is over training, but I say bah! Three or four weeks at 5-days a week need not be over training if an intelligently planned routine is used. Here's the 5-day split: shoulders, back, legs, chest, and arms.
Boom!
