Ouch! Just talked to the VW dealer across the street and he told me total repair costs will be approximately $720. Gack, cough, choke, spit water all over keyboard in exaggerated slapstick manner. The lion’s share of that is due to a stupid mass airflow meter that’s gummed up with oil. Stupid piece of fuck. The rest is from a broken “clip” on the front break pad. I wonder if “clip” is the technical term or if the maintenance guy was dumbing things down for me. Guess that non-incentive bonus check is already spent.
