Sad

Tomorrow morning I leave for Durango. I’m sad. This is the first time in over two years that SSDiabolique and I will be apart. This impending trip has made me realize how special she is to me. Not to get all mushy, but she’s the best and I love her. I think we were beginning to take our relationship for granted; we were wallowing in the stale comfort of routine. The immediacy of tomorrow makes me realize how much I love our routine… our life. It’s good to step back and take stock in the relationship. You know, hop that metaphorical fence and look back over your shoulder, because the grass you were just standing in is lush and green, but more importantly it’s yours.
