Trip ListOur trip to Atlanta is imminent. Our plan is to leave Thursday night and return the following Wednesday. Yes, that is indeed September 11. Some morbid fascination compelled us to choose that date. The date of our return flight is secondary, though. We’re flying out to Georgia so Ritsuko(LC) can celebrate her fourth birthday with SSDiabolique’s family. Counting today, I only have six more days to sing Led Zeppelin’s The Ocean to her. Were going to head out to the airport today to pick up the tickets. SSDiabolique’s dad retired from Delta, so we’re using his buddy passes to get some cheap fairs. With our trip rapidly approaching, I’m getting a little freaked out. I gotta realize that this is standard for me… too many thoughts dripping outta my head. I’ve already plugged epoxy into the majority of my orifices to stem the leakage. Things I gotta do before we leave: ~ Get tickets ~ Water the plants ~ Stop the mail ~ Stop the paper ~ Pack ~ Finish reading Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand ~ Update the Cast & Crew photos ~ Update the template for The Book ~ Post the Human for Sale results for Ritsuko and SSDiabolique ~ Post the out Wu-Tang Clan aliases ~ Post results of Hypertrophy Specific Training The fun one is going to be picking 16 CDs for our six-night stay, it’s always fun to predict what my mood will be and try to mix the music to match it. I’ve gotta pick deep albums, not some low-cal quick meal that wont fill me up. I’ll probably go with Wu-Tang Forever (yeah, double disc), the Gravediggaz new CD (I haven’t really given it a good listen), probably The Rising from Bruce Springsteen (I’ve only been able to listen to in the car because SSDiabolique is an un-fan), a Pink Floyd, a Hendrix, a Bob Marley, one or two from Bob Dylan, maybe a Led Zeppelin… it’s too overwhelming. Now I'm singing all my songs to the girl who won my heart She is only three years old and it's a real fine way to start. |
