'tis the season

Oh sweet football, how I’ve missed thee. Countless summer Sundays spent sorrowfully without you. Now, the season is underway and I am at peace once again.

Unfortunately, I need to start scouting teams for a backup. Yeah, the Broncos are my one and only. I will remain faithful to them until the end, or at least until they are mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Based upon Plummer’s stats (0-TD, 3-int), I have this sinking feeling that the Broncs won’t last past week 12. So by the time week 12 rolls around, I will need a surrogate team for transference all of my emotional investments.
