post for the sake of posting
I'll take it from here, okay? Or maybe I should go back to there. Regardless of where I start, everything will eventually be revealed, though the order may be a bit off without a little forethought.

Sick. We've all been sick. First Lori, then me, then Sherry. Stomach cramps, vomitrosous explosions, and liquid poo (which is never quite as satisfying as the solid stuff). I woke up Wednesday morning to find Lori passed out on the bathroom floor and puke smears staining her face. After I finished wishing that I hadn't left the digi-cam at work, I realized that she was at least 10-years too young to be passed out on the bathroom floor. This, in turn, made me re-live several of my own passed-out-drunk-next-to-the-toilet experiences. Back to being sick… thankfully, I only had to deal with one of the three symptoms: stomach cramps. Last night, Sherry (who had yet to fall ill) bragged and bragged about her hardcore immune system that had (up until that exact moment) kept the bug at bay. Less than an hour after her boast, she was frothing puke and squirting poo. Ha! Now who has the healthiest immune system? That's right, I do. I rule!

Training. I have been at training sessions all week for work. Work has trained me. I am trained. They started with newspaper on the floor and a spray bottle filled with Tabasco and lemon. Currently, I'm trying to deprogram myself. By the end of the day I'll be back to crapping behind my boss's ficus.

A hole in my soul… you know who I miss? ODB. Life just isn't the same without him.

Rockin'. I'm supposed to go out and see some live music tonight at the Bluebird Theatre. A bunch of bands I've never heard of, you've never heard of, nobody has ever heard of. So why go? Break dancing competition… 'nough said. With Sherry being bed-ridden from gut rot, my attendance at said event is in doubt. I need to review the social guidelines regarding the solo attendance at break dancing competitions while one's spouse is barfy.

Trumpet. Last I heard, the Anti-Shen was going to join us for our break dance outing. I have an odd suspicion that he, too, is sick. We were hanging out with him Tuesday night passing an old tarnished trumpet back and forth as if it were a bong at stoner party. …indirect swapping of saliva and subsequent germs. Poor Anti-Shenry.

Examination. Regardless of illness, Sherry, Anti-Shenry, and ODB, I have class bright and early tomorrow morning: Review for the Professional Engineer's Exam. (Stupid test) I should probably forgo tonight's event, so that I can be alert and peppy for class at stupid 8AM.

Getting out. Given that today is Friday and I'm tired of this rankness I so humorously call work, the time is right to plot my early escape.

Summary. So in summary: Sick. Training. A hole in my soul. Rockin'. Trumpet. Examination. Getting out. Summary.
