li-bary
I can't remember the last time I checked something out from the public library system. Prior to today, my last interaction with the library was when I sent $45 to their collection department for a bunch of late fees I had accumulated. That check was sent almost two years ago when I bought our house, and the mortgage lender pulled my credit report and said, "Oh, looks like a collection agency has flagged your account." Apparently, those public library bastards don't screw around when it comes to $45. I've been a bit bitter about the whole "collection" incident. Bastards were fucking with my credit score for a pissy $45. I returned the stupid books… it's just that I returned them a month late.

It's been a while since I have visited a Denver Public Library. That stupid "collections" bullshit is now a vague faded memory. As such, I have hesitantly re-approached the library and I have quickly rediscovered the joy of the Denver Public Library system. I have expanded my intellect by checking out the following items:
  • Behind the Front by The Black Eyed Peas.
  • Briding the Gag by The Black Eyed Peas.
  • The Rocky Mountain Collection by John Denver.
  • Wonder Woman: The Ultimate Guide to the Amazon Princess.
  • The A-Team Season 1 on DVD.
Yup. I'm using the library to its fullest potential. I'm exploding my brain and refining my cultural tastes. See, the library can make you more smarter.
