shenright 18.0: poetryCan we turn down the music for a second? Not all the way, just a bit? Perfect And the house lights? A little dimmer, please. Thanks. Do we have a soft lens for the camera? Soft lens, anybody? Great. Shenry is about to leave himself vulnerable and he needs an appropriate atmosphere. Shenry writes poetry. He doesn't necessarily hide this fact, but he doesn't advertise it either. His outwardly ambivalent attitude probably masks an inner nervousness when it comes to sharing something so personal. Not saying that shenry doesn't share personal shit here at The Book, but he usually dons a suit of sarcastic armor for those occasions (note the intro to this post). Shenry's more creative endeavors have no such protection; they are left vulnerable. Shenry has, just recently, discovered how to come to terms with this vulnerability. All shenry has to do is declare poetry and prose to be shenright. There you have it. This weekend write a poem; it's shenright. |
