shenright 3.0: greetingsI recently realized that I've been using the same voice mail greeting for the last two-years. Every time somebody has called me and left a message they've heard the same blasé greeting. Two-years. How stale. How predictable. How shenwrong. To make the world more shenright, I plan on changing my voice mail greeting this weekend… and so should you. It's time we all change the greeting message on our voice mail, voice messaging, answering machine, or whatever you have. Extra credit: I never identify myself in my voice mail greetings. I never give a clue as to who I am, where I am, or what I am. I dunno why I do this, I just do. If you're serious about tilting the world toward a shenright angle (which is an acute angle… a cute angle… get it, or is the pun too obtuse?), then leave a quirky and vague greeting. I already know what I'm changing my greeting to: "Go." That's it. One word. I wish I could take credit for such a minimalist greeting, but I think I got it from a movie… though I can't remember which one. |
