shenright 32.0: Viva El Comandante!

Sometimes it's good to make one's self absent... to mysteriously and without warning disappear. This is not done to make people purposefully miss you or to achieve "alone time." No, an unannounced disappearance should be done simply for absence's sake.

Zenry says: To know the fullness of what you have, you should divest yourself of those things --if only temporarily. To know the fullness of where you are, you should leave --if only to return later. To know the fullness of those around you, you should leave their company --if only to rejoin them momentarily.

This weekend fade away, fade out. Leave only long enough for your absence to be noted, not by others, by yourself. Return, and when you return say nothing of where you have been or why you were gone. If questioned or pressed, briefly mumble something about El Comandante and quickly trail off with a glazed look in your eye. Then preempt further interrogation by changing the subject matter to Billy Dee Williams or something equally leftfield.

Billy Dee Williams says... "GodDAMN! That's some good Colt 45!"
